Jason Gagorik

Deputy Chief
Deputy Chief Jason C. Gagorik has been a dedicated public safety professional for over 25 years. His training and experience include EMT-Paramedic, Police Officer, and Emergency Management.
Deputy Chief Gagorik joined the Whitehall Borough Police Department as a Patrol Officer in January 2002. Secondary assignments include First Aid-AED-CPR Instructor, Field Training Officer, Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Investigator, Class “A” Wiretapping & Electronic Surveillance Technician, and Crisis Negotiator for the SHACOG Critical Incident Response Team. He was promoted to Sergeant in 2014, Deputy Chief of Police in 2017, and Emergency Management Coordinator in 2018. In his current role, he serves as second in command of the police department and oversees criminal investigations, information technology systems, and emergency management.
Deputy Chief Gagorik holds an Associate of Science Degree in Criminal Justice (2007) and Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Leadership (2010). He has completed Penn State POSIT & POLEX, FBI-LEEDA e-Trilogy Series, FBI-LEEDS, and is currently enrolled in the Northwestern University Center of Public Safety – School of Police Staff and Command Session 480.
