Fall recreation and travel programs run from mid-August through the last week of October.
Summer Programs:
The summer skills camps are a one-week program and dates vary each summer based on field availability.
Winter Programs:
Winter Foot Skills Clinics are an opportunity for the players to build their skills during the winter months between fall and spring. These program dates vary each winter based on gym availability.
Winter Futsal is an in-house futsal program for our U7 – U13 players. This allows our players to continue playing during the winter in an indoor, fast paced setting that continues to build skills in a game-based environment. These program dates vary each winter based on gym availability.
Baldwin Youth Lacrosse (BYL)
Website: https://www.baldwinlax.org/
BYL offers both boys and girls lacrosse for players as in kindergarten through 8th grade in Baldwin, Whitehall, Brentwood, and Pleasant Hills. The goal of our program is to continue to grow the game of lacrosse in Western Pennsylvania. Teams U10 and up play a travel schedule against teams all around the Pittsburgh region. In addition, there are multiple possible year end tournaments! U8 teams play in round-robin tournaments with a possible year end tournament. For boys and girls that are younger and/or newer to the game, BYL offers the Sticklets and Scoopers program to introduce them to the game. Off-season events include tournaments, skills days, and learn to play sessions through the fall and winter.
BYL prides itself on building complete players who compete in other sports as well as on club teams. Lacrosse is a great sport to build stamina, improve field vision, work on quickness, and hand-eye coordination. Lacrosse is the fastest sport on two feet!
